I started this blog as an open forum for recruiters to exchange their ideas and  feelings to better our profession.  Please feel free to respond to any of my ranting or open up new topics for discussion.  At all times these thoughts must be presented in a professional manner that encourages participation and are a credit to our industry.

I also encourage candidates for employment to ask questions or state problems they have had with recruiters in the past.  Your input is vital to our success.  After all, you need to be just as happy about your new (or future) employment for your continued usage of our services.

I ask you to identify yourself but I will withhold identification posted if requested.

I reserve the right to not post or edit content to adhere to the above standards of conduct.

Recruiter Roundtable #2 complete!

We had a smaller group then I initially expected, but it made for some great conversations and exchanges.  Three recruiters from Levi, Ray and Shoup attended, Vikki Hawkins, Rachel Rickhoff and Hilary Hertenstein, along with two recruiters from Chameleon Integrated Services, Greg Hill and Brad McGhee.

We went over some basics about the differences between vanilla candidate databases and a true ATS.  Thus, focusing on work flow and recruiting cycles.  The LRS folks are using a recently developed in house system that seems to be working well.  If you know LRS, you're probably aware they are a Microsoft Gold Partner, loaded with a lot of great developers.  That makes for a great mix!

We'll see you at the next luncheon!

I'd like to know more about:

Microsoft Gold Partner

and the meaning of it within the recruiting industry.
